    10. Willis Independent School District

    Willis ISD is a growing K-12 public school district nestled between the Sam Houston National Forest and Lake Conroe, 45 miles north of Houston, Texas. Willis ISD encompasses 126 square miles in Montgomery County and 32 square miles in San Jacinto County. The district currently consists of five elementary schools, two middle schools and one high school.

    9. New Caney Independent School District

    New Caney Independent School District encompasses 86.48 square miles, located approximately 25 miles northeast of downtown Houston, Texas in Montgomery County. The district consists of 11 elementary schools, 4 middle schools, New Caney High School, and Infinity Early College High School.

    8. Magnolia Independent School District

    Magnolia Independent School District is a highly rated, public school district located in Magnolia, TX. It has 13,264 students in grades PK, K-12 with a student-teacher ratio of 16 to 1.     7. Klein Independent School District

    Klein Independent School District, encompassing approximately 87.5 square miles, is located in northwestern Harris County, Texas.     5. Cypress-Fairbanks Independent School District

    4. Conroe Independent School District

    Conroe ISD is a 348 square mile school district located in the Houston, Texas metropolitan area. The geographic areas of the District are diverse and include The Woodlands, Shenandoah, Oak Ridge North, Conroe, and Caney Creek, as well as several other smaller towns, communities, and unincorporated areas.     Katy ISD was rated the number 1 school district in Northwest Houston by Niche! Katy ISD is a flourishing suburban school district that encompasses 181 square miles in southeast Texas. Its eastern boundaries stretch to Houston’s energy corridor approximately 16 miles west of downtown Houston and extend along Interstate 10 to a few miles west of the city of Katy. The district consists of 43 elementary schools, 17 junior high schools, and 11 high schools.
