Cy-Fair High School
Cy-Fair High School follows the district’s mission statement.
Cy-Fair High School was established in 1935 on the same site as the 1884 one-room Big Cypress School House. Only three students graduated from the class of 1935. However, throughout the years, student enrollment has grown significantly. In 2001, a renovation was completed that included 20 additional classrooms, a new library, a new commons area, and new science and physical education wing. Although the school has been renovated, the district kept the historic character of the campus.
The school mascot is a bobcat and the school colors are maroon and white. Cy-Fair High School is a “TEA Recognized” campus and received the Recognized School Award for Student Performance during the 1997-1998 school year. In addition to excellent academics, Cy-Fair High School offers students approximately 30 clubs and the opportunity to join an athletic team.

Cypress Woods High School
Vision Statement: Cypress Woods High School embraces a mindset of growth that nurtures responsible citizens, insightful problem solvers, and global leaders who embody the POWER of 212.
Cypress Woods High School opened its doors in 2006 as the 8th high school in the Cypress Fairbanks Independent School District. It is located on 182 acres in Cypress and the campus is accompanied by Robson Elementary School and Spillane Middle School. The school mascot is a wildcat and the school colors are crimson red and gold. Former Head Football Coach David Jones introduced the 212º Spirit concept to his football players back in 2007-2008. He used a motivational video on how water doesn’t boil until it reaches 212º F., emphasizing how only one degree of extra heat (or effort) transforms hot water into steam, a force that has been harnessed to power engines and truly impact human achievement. The idea that one degree of extra effort is “what separates good from great” is the compelling concept that has swept through Cypress Woods, giving impetus and intensity to more than just athletic pursuits.
