- “Tails and Tales” Summer Reading Program
Participate in the Houston Public Library’s “Tails and Tales” Summer reading program! June 1 through August, 15, 2021, children ages 0-18 can earn a free book by simply reading for 20 minutes a day for 5 days. In addition, each day you log your reading sessions, you will receive one entry for their weekly prize drawing! The Houston Public Library says that anything you read counts! Audiobooks, comic books, magazines, and more – it all counts as reading! This is a great way to keep your child engaged with reading while on Summer break and you do not have to be within Houston city limits to participate! Click here to register.
